What’s your fave organic bath products company?

Question by Kelsey P: What’s your fave organic bath products company?
What are some good ones? Hopefully organic. So far I really like california baby, badger balm, and indigo wild. I want to find green bath products that I can find in common stores. Also, what is your opinion on lush bath products?

You do not need to buy most of your bath products. You can make them yourself. I do. I have many books giving recipes from all the things found in the average garden and store cupboard but there are as many online. Here are a few to start you off……http://beauty.about.com/od/kitchenbeauty/

Lush products are very yummy but you can make most of them yourself!

Dirty Boys Soap CoOp, a local soap making CoOp started by some of my buddies here in Kalamazoo. Sure you can’t just buy their soap in any store, but restructuring society into a more sustainable model is all about reconnecting communities and producing things for ourselves, and not relying on some bath company half way across the country to ship “organic” soap to us. :)

I make my own bath salts and I have a friend who makes all my soaps and lotions…this way we really know what is in them all. If you by in stores please, really read the labels carefully.

Lush cosmetics is a bit expensive, but worth every penny!
The bubble bars last a long time if you have jets in your tub. just use a quarter of one and puff them up with the jets for 4-5 minutes! i love big blue bath bomb! the seaweed is so detoxifying!
Lush is such a good store as far as enviroment is concerned. They barley use packaging, and most products are vegan. If you use a solid shampoo bar it lasts longer then a bottle of shampoo and is better for the enviroment. and even if you do buy the shampoo there you can bring it back for recycling!
    Yay lush! =]
