Well it wasn’t that unique, but I did Noah’s Arc. I had tons of animal balloons all over, matching plates and cups, table cloths. We then placed cute animal frames all over the tables and little animal figures. These ended up being party favors and people took them when it was over. I thought Noah’s Arc because it was neutral. It can be more boyish if the animals look darker, but I used pastel and super cartoony animals. I loved it as I am an animal lover. We also themed the games around it, one game had a list of animals – the guests had to come up with the baby name for that animal, whoever had the most correct won. My mom found the games by internet searching.

If your throwing the shower near a hoilday go full force with the holiday theme. My daughter was due in December, but becuase of thanksgiving and christmas my cousin threw me one in October and it was “a little pumpkin” shower. Decorations were fall themed and the games were more harvest games, like drawing the best baby face on a mini pmpkin, we had pumpkin pie lol it was so much fun!! This year are baby is due April 9th and shes has in the works a St. patricks day themed one (we are having 2nt boy so its “a lucky little lepercon” shower) Green everything and irish food and games, Im excited. But most holidays offer the prefect oppertunity to find awsome decorations and food and themes, good luck and have fun!! It is not near a holiday ive been to a very fancy tea party one (also works for “alice in wonderland” party) and a really fun BBQ where guys and girls were there and we played yard games boys vr girls (they didnt know what they were having so it was fun to be nuteral)

We had an outdoor co-ed shower and we played typical shower games as well as badminton (i just watched) and other fun games. We had a boy so our colors were green and blue and our theme was “Baby Boy”. We had whipped icing cupcakes instead of a cake and my husband opened gifts with me. It was fun.

Here are a couple of pictures.

I’ve always liked this one that I went to:

It was in the spring, and the theme was a tea party! It was outside on a beautiful spring day. There was tea (hot and iced) and cakes, small sandwiches. Flowers adorned all tables, White calla lillies and roses (light pink), there was beautiful plates and teacups. There was a table for the presents, and white balloons.

The favors were small flower pots painted with light green, light pink, and light blue paint with white lettering saying “baby” and inside was a packet of baby’s breath seeds, and tied with ribbon:)

    It was absolutely gorgeous!
