I bought three different kinds of wipes to start my wipe collection and these are by far the best. I will agree with others as to the fact that the tag is cumbersome, but it is easily navigated. The other wipes I purchased were Fuzzi bunz Organic Cotton Cloth Wonder Wipes and Diaper Deb’s – Terry Cloth Organic Wipes. DD’s used the same fabric but cut it in such a way to make them roll up into cigars at every wash. DD’s are also smaller. FB are very thin and don’t really absorb any mess. I end up using two or three when I only need one of the BabyKicks. If I need to buy more I will buy BabyKicks, as they are affordable and of good quality.

I have been using cloh wipes for three weeks with my newborn. I have tried babykicks wipes, homemade flannel wipes, and Kissaluvs wipes. I like these wipes best. They really clean up my baby’s bottom. They shrink after the first washing, but they really get the job done. I prefer using two small wipes for each diaper change. One side is smooth and one side a bit rougher, for getting the really nasty stuff off the skin. Both sides are very soft, though. I use the wipes with a wipes solution and just throw them in the diaper pail with the cloth diapers. It’s very simple and cost-effective. I recommend buying at least two packs.

These cloths are so absorbent! I originally bought them as tushie wipes, but they were so soft and absorbent that I now use them as baby wash cloths and I fold them and stuff them in my bra to use as reuseable breast pads. I love these cloths!

Small problem – these wipes work great but there is a rather large tag on each wipe that I find annoying. The tag always seems to be in the way. I tried cutting one off but then I have that abrasive edge. Other than the tag I agree with all the above – launder great, wipe swell, soft (except that darn tag). some of the other wipes I order did not have a tag on each wipe.

Prior to using these, I used bumGenius flannel wipes. I like the bumGenius ones, but I like the BabyKicks much better. These are thicker and the fleece side works better for cleaning up messes. Also, these don’t curl up after drying like the bumGenius wipes do.

I did a side by side comparison of these Gerber organic diapers and the Gerber premium prefold cloth diapers which are also quite popular by purchasing a 6-pack of each, for the same price.
I washed them all in a regular load of whites with regular detergent and no fabric softener, and dried them on medium. These came out the winner in my book, mostly because even without the assistance of fabric softener, there came out far softer than the premium prefolds. After being dried, they took on a bubbly, muslin-like appearance, where the premiums were crisp, solid and flat. Its probably a matter of preference what you like and what you intend to use these multi-purpose cloths for.
On the downside, these shrunk slightly more than the other Gerbers, and are now an inch smaller on each side. They were still plenty large enough to get the job done and are no means as small as a washcloth, etc.
To me, if you love instant softness and a looser weave, get these. If you like sturdy, high thread count and a thick uniform cloth, get the Gerber premium prefolds.

Not good in comparison with indian prefold diapers from places like Green Mountain, Little Lions, etc. These will barely hold a few ounces of liquid without leaking. I bought two packs and lost the reciept, so I guess I’ll just use them as rags, or extra wipes when I run low. I won’t be using them as diapers, though.

I can not say for a diaper but for a burpcloth it works great. I love that they are organic. They soak up any spit-up, vomit, and any form of milk very well.

I actually have the natural ones, and not the white. These absorb spit-up amazingly well, which means more use out of each one as a burp cloth. And the spit-up hardly shows. So soft and fluffy — makes for a nice fabric for my baby’s cheek when he’s getting burped.

This is my first review of a product ever. I did not realize how awesome this cloth is until I used a few inserts recently. This fabric holds so much more liquid than the microterry inserts. I am so glad I made the right purchase. The fabric gets softer by everyday use, hand wash and line dry. A round in the dryer made them fluffy too. The size of the pre-fold is generous. I have had no leaks so far. And lastly, the price is also very good. I went to one of the chain fabric store and found that bird-eye non organic cloth costs $4.99 per yard! The Gerber organic prefolds are defenitely a steal!
Oops, I just realized that the current price is $30, which is way too much. I had paid $9.99 a few weeks ago and that sure was a steal.
