you can use organic cloth diaper with a leak proof wrap. I got mine from earthbaby.com. Once yu get the hang of it cloth is just as easy as disposable. There are alos clorine free disposables. they are from seventh generation. Youcan buy them at amazon.com. They work just like regular disposable diapers.

I use fitted diapers with a waterproof cover.
Works fine
There is also the ‘gdiaper’ system, which is a re-usable cover with flushable inserts (if your toilet can handle them).
I think you mean the compostable single use diapers? Like G-diapers or Nature Boy/Girl Diapers?
The Nature Diapers have a corn starch waterproof coating:

G-Diapers are a cloth outside with disposable inside:

Otherwise true all reusable cloth diapers often use a wool cover which is waterproof, or other such materials.
i dont know about organic diapers but i have been exclusivly cloth diapering my daughter since birth…she is now five months old and i will never, never go back to disposables…
my cloth diapers save me money, trips to the store, and my baby girl is not being exposed to all of those chemicals that are in disposables these days…not to mention that im doing my part for the amount of diapers that wind up in landfill on a daily basis…
i use pocket, one-size diapers…Baby Kangas or BumGenius 3.0s and i love them more than i can say. gone are the days of folding, pins and plastic pants…they are just as easy to put on and take off as disposables. not to mention that she is yet to have any kind of rash or irritation unlike my now four year old who was constantly breaking out (not due to her not being changed very regularly)…
check out http://www.wildflowerdiapers.com and http://www.twolittlewhales.com for all information on cloth diapering…i love that im saving a fortune…ive pretty much broken even now and my daughter is five months old…
Organic diapers are basically just reusable diapers made from organic cotton. You buy a waterproof cover to go over them, as others have mentioned. Not only can they save you money, and trips to the store, but you have the benefit of not adding to landfills, and your baby doesn’t have chemicals sitting right on their skin (regular diapers have chlorine in them!).
