Is there anything special I could do to keep it from wilting with the dressing on?

It’s organic baby greens with apples, walnuts and shredded parmesan. I plan to put a raspberry vinaigrette on.

Why would you put it on at all? Bring the dressing with you and put it on and toss just before it’s put out to serve.

  1. Jo W says:

vinaigrettes should be put on at the last minute before serving because it is vinegar based
creamy dressings can be put on early they are no vinegar based

when I’m taking a salad with inaigrette to a pot luck, I just put the dressing in a resealable container and dress the salad there…

I would put it on right before you serve it. If you put it on too early, it will wilt the salad and make it soggy. Right before is the best bet. Good luck!!
