if it is a fresh bottle-24hrs
if she has drank some of it-2hrs
I believe when my granddaughters were on Infamil, that it called for you to disgard any milk that is left for more than 72 hrs. It should recommend how long on the can. There was never any left for my girls, because they finished all their milk way before the recommended time. If it doesn’t say, call a nurse at the hospital, they will tell you! Good Luck!

Preparing ahead
To make your life a little less hectic, you can prepare a supply of bottles ahead of time (not more than 24 hours ahead for formula from powder and not more than 48 hours ahead for formula from concentrate or ready-to-use forms). Be sure to refrigerate (35 – 40°F) immediately and discard any formula remaining after these time periods.

6. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm. Once prepared, infant formula can spoil quickly. Either immediately feed or immediately cover and refrigerate at 35-40°F (2-4°C) for no longer than 24 hours. Do not use prepared formula if it is unrefrigerated for more than a total of 2 hours. Do not freeze prepared formula.
After feeding begins, do not refrigerate feeding bottle. You must use within 1 hour or discard.
7. Store cans at room temperature. After opening can, keep tightly covered, store in dry area and use contents within 1 month. Do not freeze powder and avoid excessive heat.
