Gently used and new second hand consignment shops are growing at a rapid rate these days. With so many parents looking for all of the name brand clothing that the other kids arae wearing, searching for the same brands can be expensive. Its great to find an Ambercrombie shirt for your teen that looks like new with out the tags for half the price. These shops are fantastic.

obviously carseats you just should never buy used… too risky…

but for almost everything else, buying used is a great way to preserve the environment without spending more money… it’s not just recycle… it’s reduce and reuse.

you’re reducing the amount of resources used by not buying a brand new item… and you’re reusing it, of course.

Saying there is a demand for used cloth diapers sounds wrong. But I get what he was saying.

My only problem with 2nd hand stores is convincing my Wife that it’s OK to shop there.
She refused to take any hand me downs from her cousin for our first son. (Her cousin’s son is only 7 months older than ours). She’s not AS bad with the second.
