Question by miha_80: How can I disinfect baby’s rattles and toys?
Which product do you thing is the best to disinfect baby’s toys? Or it’s better just to wash them in hot water with no other chemicals and all?

yup! plain ol’ soap and hot water, it’s great to do when you’re doing the dishes and just toss em on in w/everything else that’s what i do

    I use hot water and sometimes dreft cleaner. I wouldn’t use anyting harsh or antibacterial/microbial on something your child may stick in their mouth. Also it’s bad for the environment.

    When my baby was under 3 months old, I washed them with Milton (depending on which country you are in, it’s the same solution they offer to clean bottles, teats and pacifiers (dummies) with.

    Now I rinse them with warm water and dish washing liquid.

    toys (non-waterproof)- Wipe them down with lysol,chlorox, off brand disinfectant wipe

    Teethers- hot soapy water

    stuffed animals-wash surface with mild detergent of dish soap by hand and let air dry

    Dishwasher or soak them in hot soapy water. You could always boil the teethers.
