Question by lysistrata411: Why do ppl buy coupons, diapers, wipes, etc. on ebay when they are only a few cents cheaper than in the store?
I find it so strange that ppl will pay 75 cents for a $ 1 off coupon or pay almost the same amount for certain baby items like diapers and wipes (in particular, anyways) that cost the same as in the store if not more! Has anyone else noticed this. Do you think it is even worth it or just crazy? Why do ppl do this? Just curious!

Normally, they are buying a bunch of them and there are discounts. Also, some stores double coupons (although they tend to hike their prices, so not always an advantage).
Not everybody lives in the city or suburbia. My sister has to drive 14 miles just to get a gallon of milk (and they don’t even carry disposable diapers). You have to go 28 miles for that. So, in higher gas prices, it may be cheaper to have diapers and wipes shipped to you than drive 45 miles or more one way to get them. I’d just get them from someplace like 1-800Diapers though.
i buy mine off of amazon cause its cheaper for the bulk box and free shipping. its not that im lazy to leave my house but it is hard when you only have one car.. but thats why i do it.
i wouldnt do it, you pay more in shipping cost & what not. its pointless in my opinion.

I don’t understand people who buy the formula checks for pretty much the same price as what they are worth. To me, it’s not worth it.
I can see buying a bunch of wipes, diapers, etc coupons. You can usually get them for an ok price AND a lot of times people use them with store coupons (like Target), and it makes the item practically free.
I know several people who have a huge stockpile of Huggies wipes by using a combination of a Target coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon. If you can get the manu coupons on the cheaper side – it’s worth it.
