I’ve never heard that you can’t mix them. It actually might be a good idea, so that you can slowly introduce the new one so your baby won’t be alarmed by the new flavor. Good luck!

I did and it didn’t bother my son, it could possibly give your baby gas. I also stuck with the same formula until he was atleast 6 months.

throw it,the compositions are different as will be the expiry dates

You cannot actually mix the formula together, but you could do one feed with one type of formula and the next one with the other type, although you may find that your baby prefers one or the other and he/she may have a few runny poos until he/she is used to the change.

I think it would be okay. My 5 month old is on soy and I mix different brands. My doc wants to slowly switch her to milk based formula at 6 mos. so she said to make a bottle of 1 oz. new formula, 5 oz. soy, then gradually increase the amount of new formula with each bottle while decreasing the soy.

You should slowly switch your baby over to the new formula. Mix up a batch of each and then mix them 1/2 and 1/2 for awhile then 1/4 and 3/4 so that their tummy does not get upset.

DO NOT mix the powders. The cans probably have different measuring devices and they aren’t the same.

it depends on what you are switching two and from. sometimes its best to mix it instead of a sudden change so it wont upset their tummy call your Dr or call the 800 on the can you are switching TO and they will help you. That’s what I did when I had to switch my sons formula. they had to mix it with a little less of his old formula each time before going completely on the new formula
