i’ve watched this episode before. in my english class i had to write a journal on the most useless thing in the world is and i said escalators and pointed out that they were dangerous and refered to this episode.

They make escalators now that if something does get stuck in the groove at the bottom it shuts off right away
I have a fear when i go on the Escalator
I prefur the lifts
I hope people will always have easy access to 911 for an emergency like this as this is the kind of think that, while rare, happens and causes people to die or be permanently injured.

i remeber that i was at mall of georgia i was wanting to go down to the esculator but my sister cling to my dad real tight she wouldnt let go O_O

wtf how could anyone not see the emergency stop button? there was plenty of people around, surely one knew where the button was!!!!!!
Ditto to this whole comment! I remember watching this with my dad and being terrified, I can’t have been more than 5 or 6. I’ve def always been careful around escalators!!
