My cotton shirts are lasting 8 months, they use to last 2 to 3 years. What’s changed? My salary has decreased by 15% since Sept 2008, I’m looking for clothing that last longer.

That’s not good news, thanks for letting me know. I’ll look into other fabrics. I love the softness of cotton, but not for the expense. It may be worth while to pay more for a hemp shirt that lasts longer than a cotton shirt that has to be thrown out in less than a year.
@rayme4raw my organic cotton t-shirts have lasted me the same as regular t-shirts…AND they’re way softer
What I want to know is what lasts longer? A hemp & organic cotton t-shirt or a cotton t-shirt that I can buy at Sears. I’m sick and tired of spending money buying clothes that seem to break down after 9 months in spite of me using the least harsh laundry detergent. I want to get 3 to 5 years out of a good shirt.
