Question by A W: Can we feed our 14 month old baby Enfamil Lipil formula designed for babies aged 0-12 months?
We have a few extra tins that would be a shame to toss away! Is there a big difference between Enfamil Lipil and Next Step?

Can you? Yes, Should you? In my opinion I think that you need to mix that with some of the next step formula that way your baby is getting the nutrients he/she needs but your also not wasting the old stuff

i wouldn’t!!! at 1 yrs old your baby should be on Solid foods and whole milk. i think if you still give him formula it might confuse him.
I don’t see a problem with it.
babies don’t NEED formula after one year…so forget the next step gimmick…now if you want to use up what you have, it won’t hurt him…but you could donate any unopened cans if you want…..don’t fall for the gimmicks though, they are everywhere!!!
you can because by now baby should be eating with you and this would just be a drink
At 14 months your baby should be on whole milk and solids, not on baby formula. And, definitely NOT being fed in a bottle, s/he should be drinking from a sippy cup. You should be choosing things that are nutritionally and developmentally appropriate for your child to eat, and not just feeding him/her certain things because you don’t want to throw them away.
However you can always contact the formula manufacturer and ask them the nutritional value of the formula for a baby of that age and weight.
