Just after midnight a new Teche Area resident was born to Amy Bodin of Jeanerette, her second son but the first baby of the new year. Blue-eyed Bentley Sigue, weighing in at 7.2 pounds, was born at 12:07 a.m. Saturday at Iberia Medical Center after seven hours of labor, Bodin said.
