A description for this photo is better late than never, right?!
Guest book: Instead of a guest book I bought a blank onesie and some fabric pens. Guests were invited to sign their name and add good wishes for Baby K that he could actually wear later on.
Photographs: I asked Angela for photos of her and Justin as children and she had two such pictures framed. Both of them were blond haired and blue-eyed so everyone got to guess who was who.
Cupcakes: Instead of a cake I decided to go with cupcakes because I could personalize them by making cupcake toppers. They took a long time but were totally worth it.
Flowers: I bought these flowers to use as a prize for our game. They matched perfectly with the color scheme. Since a couple people technically won the game we gave them to the real shower winner: Angela.
Parenting Advice Cards: I took craft paper that had blue stars on it (right up Justin and Angela’s alley) and encouraged guests to add their own pieces of advice–the more ridiculous the better. I called it "Advice were giving her to questions she’s never asked." We gave her a piece of ‘always’ advice, a ‘never’ advice, suggestions for a baby name, and a fairy godmother gift. It was pretty hilarious to read what everyone wrote.
CD Shower Favors: These CDs were everyone’s shower favor and I think people really liked them. The CD contained lullaby versions of famous rock songs. We listened to it throughout the shower and people got to guess what was playing.

Swaddle Babies

The doll on the far right is my first attempt and my daughter’s first birthday present. I personalized the other two for my cousin and sister to give for baby shower gifts.
