White Spots On Teeth??

Question by Chelle: White Spots On Teeth??
My 16 month old has white spots on his teeth!!! I looked it up and it mentioned flourosis. He has never had flouride drops and he doesn’t drink flouridated water. It also mentions baby bottle tooth decay. He has been breastfed since day one. It said that breastmilk is good for a baby’s teeth. Could he have decay from nursing?? I have been sooooo on top of it with his teeth too!! Since day one we have been wiping his mouth and gums with a wet washcloth after each feeding. Then, ever since his first tooth popped in he has been getting his teeth brushed and flossed!!! He never drinks anything but water and breastmilk! He has never had candy! He eats organic everything. He only eats healthy and nutritous foods….sooooo what the heck!? What are these spots? =( My poor little boy! What is the outcome of these white spots? Can I do anything to help them go away? Needless to say I’ll be taking him to the dentist very soon!! Any advice and suggestions are super appreciated in the meantime.

well as he/ she gorows those teeth will fall out so its not really much of an issue but for now keep him/ her away fron acidic drinks and juices. stick to water and milk as much as possible

no offence but the otha 2 answeres r crap!! My teeth hav got them…its pigmentation and they will neva go away…:( if he has ginger hair it is verry common, but im sure he will be fine!! its not very noticable…not once you have lots of teeth…Its OK!!
Also the teeth wont fall out. Dont worry about it! he;ll b fine!! Milk is good… but it wont make it better. Just less noticaeable. Trust me. I have it. I know about it as i am only in highschool. Nobody cares!! VMBA
