Babies have one universal nutritional need: Breastmilk.

I think this is a very interesting question. I don’t know the answer, but it makes some sense since men and women do have different needs. I know breastmilk changes to match the child’s needs throughout the whole time they nurse – I would guess if male and female children had different nutritional needs it would change to provide that as well.

No. Babies and young children all have the same nutritional needs.

As far as older children go, teenage boys eat less fruit and vegetables than they should, and teenage girls drink less milk than they should.

Introduce your boys to fruit and vegies early on and their bowels will thank you.

Introduce your girls to low fat dairy when they reach adolescence, and their bones and teeth will thank you.

I agree with the breastmilk. As near magical as what breastmilk is, I suppose it could recognize whether or not the baby is a boy or girl. It recognizes many other things, like whether or not the baby needs more antibodies if the baby or the mother is sick. It also recognizes the age of the baby and changes accordingly. So maybe it does recognize gender. Formula doesn’t do any of this.

No. Adult females mainly have different nutritional needs because of menstruation and “in case” they become pregnant.

Also men are bigger than women, but in children size is much more variable.
