Under indirect supervision, provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment & technical procedures to a group of normal-to-high risk infants. Manages neonatal caseload with physician consultation & collaboration. Serves as patient & family advocate in identifying healthcare needs & actions for neonatal cases. Coordinates pre- & post-operative care activities for normal-to-high risk infants. Supports neonatal units during crisis situations.
