Answer by Cloth on Bum, Breastmilk in Tum!
The only covers I have are Bummis Super Whisper Wraps, but I googled Dappi and looked at some on ebay. Honestly, all covers pretty much work the same, it’s just a matter of them fitting your baby right. Just like one style of blue jeans doesn’t fit every woman the same, diapers don’t fit every baby the same. My Bummis are a little tight around my daughter’s thighs, so I’ve been wanting new covers. I’d suggest buying 1 or 2, then if you like them get more. If not, you haven’t wasted too much money!
Also, here are some of my thoughts on covers in general: I’m going to start looking for covers that snap instead of velcro. The velcro is more adjustable, great for when they’re little. But it also tears up my other diapers in the wash, so I hand wash the covers and line dry them. Kind of a pain. Also, the snaps are harder for little hands to un-do once the baby gets bigger! I like PUL, but I am wanting to try some fleece or other softer covers instead. The PUL seems bulky and weird under her clothes, I think fleece might fit a little nicer and trimmer. Another thing I like is having white covers – when we used disposables, I hated the cartoon characters showing through her onesies. It’s nice to have something not show through, especially when the baby is dressed up really nice. But, having some cute, fun diapers is nice too! I have only white covers, but colored bumGenius all-in-ones and pockets, so it’s a nice mix.
Lastly, the Dappi covers seem to be a good deal – one ebay I found them .99 for 6! I paid .50 each for my covers, and that was a pretty good deal. It does kind of make me wonder if they’re high quality, but at least you’re not out a lot of money if they aren’t! Good luck with your cloth diapering – I know I love it!
What do you think? Answer below!

I found some links below about reviews on Dappi covers for you.
I have never used them personally. I am noticing that they come in a pull-on version and a velcro version. If you have a choice go with the velcro ones, it will be very difficult to get the pull-ons on a wiggly baby.
Personally I prefer wool or fleece covers. Also, you don’t need a ton of covers, just 4-6 of them so you can invest in some more expensive ones without breaking the bank. Don’t use the same cover back-to-back, let them air out between changes and then reuse them. Once they have been pooed on they should not be used again until washed. Good luck with cloth diapering, I love it! Feel free to email if you want to chat more about covers, fitted diapers, gDiapers, all-in-ones or pocket diapers, I use them all. And I did attempt using pre-folds so I know a little about them too!
