Question by Matahari: Homemade organic baby food?
I make food for my baby at home. All the books about baby food say you should peel off the skin from fruits and vegetables, but since I only use organic fruits and veggies, do I still have to peel it off? I know the skin has so much vitamins and there should not be any chemicals since it is organic, so do you think there is any other reason why they recomend making baby purees withouts the skin?

I would say the only other reason would be that perhaps some fruits and veggies have a tougher skin that may not puree so smoothly. If you can make it a good texture than I say leave the skin on.

I agree with the above answer, just make sure they can eat it easily and wash it first even though it’s organic.
i would say yes because even cooking will not break down the peels on most veg just b safe
Organic food is fertilized with cow manure which increases the chances of e.coli. So, other than that, I would agree with you that the skins of fruit and veggies would be fine.
It’s really hard to puree skins. It can be done with some of today’s stuff, but it isn’t all that smooth.
