Question by Love my Baby Girl: Picking out a paint color for our nursery bedding is Nojo Farm Babies?
I know that we are having a little girl and I have picked out our baby bedding; here is a photo of what I have picked out http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3635729. I really like stripes and am thinking that I want the painter to paint stripes on the wall but I can’t decide on colors. I want something that will grow with our daughter, I don’t want to redo the room once she is older and we change the bedding. The set has cream and yellow in it & I was thinking that. Does anyone else have this bedding? What color did you go with? Do you have photos?

personally since that bedding set is fairly ‘busy’ and bold colours I wouldn’t paint the room in stripes as its going to be a bit too busy, over stimulating to the senses and over the top. Stripes on the wall would be used when all the other accessories are plainer imo. You don’t want the stripes to the the rooms overwhelming feature. You want the bedding and decorations to stand out at you when you first walk in.
I would paint the bottom third of the wall in yellow or the sage green that is in the set, you could stripe just the bottom third if you wanted to
and then do the top 2/3′s in cream.
then, paint a red stripe horizontally around the room inbetween the two colours as there is red in the seat and its easy to adapt later for a older girl OR use a matching wall border instead of the red paint.
maybe something like this….but you don’t have to have the murals painted on of course

here is one with your nursery set, but its definately very boyish which is a bit hard to avoid with that nursery set unless you do it all yellow and red

I agree with the girl above way to busy but if you pain the bottom with strips id do a sage green and a brown those colors are in this year so yeah and then paint the top like a creamy topee color or beige or something any ways good luck
