Question by ash: question about how much baby furniture to buy? pls read?
Hello, i was wondering how much baby furniture i should buy. Specifically dressers and storage for clothes. Is just one dresser enough for all her clothes? I also have a closet thats good sized to use but most of the stuff is sooooo tiny that it looks like i should just fold it. Any advice or tips

I did perfectly fine with a dresser and the changing table. I used the changing table shelving for diapers, bibs and burp cloths, etc. and then the dresser for all of the clothes. More than enough room. Have fun shopping!

I have a 3 drawer dresser for my son. One drawer is enough for his current clothes. One is for his towels, blankets, bup cloths, etc. And the last drawer I put the clothes that he can’t fit yet. I hardly hang anything besides jackets for him.
I would say a changing table with drawers would be enough. I use the plastic drawer chests on wheels in the bottom of the closet to store clothes in too to save room and money. You won’t have much to hang up at first and will probably need a dresser down the road though so I would suggest getting one right away.
I currently have 3 drawers just for him and i’m still getting more clothes I know he’s not going to fit into all of it but people just keep giving me there hand me downs and I hate telling them no. There free so why not. Anyways to answer your question I would stick with the closet and just one dresser.
since you already have a closet, just get a small dresser. if you feel u wont have space, you can always have sum kind of storage chest or bin, to put the clothes that are for later on…n only keep out the ones youll use for the first few months.
One small dresser and some hanging space for dresses or dress shirts should PLENTY. If you want room in there for blankets, baby towels, and such one regular-sized dresser should be sufficient.
