Question by jennibean: I have all black bedroom furniture and baby blue walls. What color bedding?
Simple black leather headboard, black night stands and dressers, and baby blue walls. I was debating between doing all white bedding or adding in baby blue sheets with the rest white. What would look the best? I am open for any other ideas too.

Do you like animal prints? What about trying a cheetah or leopard print comforter and the baby blue sheets?

I think the all white bedding sounds good, but adding the baby blue sheets will bring more colour to the bed as well, you don’t want it to look to white do you! I don’t think you should use anything black for the bedding because then your room will look too dark.
I would recommend keeping the color scheme fairly simple and go with shades of white.
Splashes and variants of gray would look really nice with baby blue as well.
Good luck!
Your ideas sound great. The white bedding broken up with some blue sheets would look nice.
You could also opt for some printed sheets or just print pilowcases that have blue, white, other colors and/or a touch of black.

You could also go with a black/white stripe sheet set..http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Regency-300-Thread-Count-Cotton-Laney-Print-Sheet-Set/4262749/product.html
Your ideas sound great. A light pink shade might also look nice with the walls and furniture you have.
how about a light green or grey?
that would look amazing!!
I say treat the baby blue as background (like the sky) and get some PUNCH in there! Go with a yellow and earth tones bed, with a window treatment on the same lines….or slam some bold red and rich khaki up in there. Slap a complementary “important” picture or wall sculpture up on the wall, and throw up a big mirror if you don’t already have one.
Go with color! It’s easy and cheap to change it if you get tired of it…..!!
Best wishes. Have fun
I’d find a white/blue pattern, but only if it was mostly white like a toille. Pottery Barn has a lot of them. Black, white, and blue is a great color combo.
I would soften the colors by adding some pastels in. Opt for pale lemon yellows / light pistachio colors to compiment the black-baby blue situation.
My daughter’s room is blue (blue gray) and she has all black furniture. She went with contemporary black and white bedding – white with black polka dots from Pottery Barn. I don’t think they carry it anymore but they have this bedding that might look really good (Look at the Nouveau Floral Organic Duvet Cover & Sham line which come in a few different color options):

She also threw in a bright yellow neck roll pillow on the bed for a slight pop of color. Her room is gorgeous!
You could have baby blue sheets, baby blue as the main colour for the duvet and pillows but have detail stitched in black maybe?
A bit like this maybe? : http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51VAZc9cA4L.jpg
Def white bedding. It will look fantastic!
how about a brown or a burgundy you know to make a room any room more inviting or just a good feeling your colors should be WALLA, FURNITURE ,BEDDING. DOORS AND WINDOWS SHOULD ALWAYS STAND OUT LIKE baby blue on white frames then your sheets could be white and the bedding blue with black in it curtains black Now add a another color to give the room a pop like a cream green just here and there. some pillows onyour bed a plant, lamps, some frames just suggestion visit HGTV and look at their shows i recommend ‘GOT COLOR”, Divine DESIGN or just look at rooms with the color scheme you like.
i think throw pillows are nice with your suggestions. Some prints mixed in there with like colors.
