Day two with Nana. We went to the vet for her first round of vaccinations. Dr. Martinez estimated that she is closer to 12 weeks old (instead of the suspected 8), based on her weight of 3 pounds.
After her visit, we went to Petsmart to return the unopened bag of dry food I’d bought the day before. I have decided to feed her canned food, after reading Feeding Your Cat: Know the Basics of Feline Nutrition on catinfo.org. I’ve selected the grain-free Wellness Kitten Formula. (Until my online order arrives, she’s eating some not-as-good-but-okay-for-now canned food by Science Diet. I couldn’t find any grain-free kitten formulas at the pet store… Only one grain-free brand and it was for adult cats.)
After the store, we met up with Matt on his dinner break. They are best friends, naturally.
