How can I clean my baby’s car seat toys?

Question by Kat: How can I clean my baby’s car seat toys?
I have a couple of Infantino car seat toys that are like rattles. I caught my brother in laws dog playing with them so I took them off to clean. It says not to put in the washer but instead to clean with a cloth. What is the best way that anyone can recommended? Or should I just buy my son new ones?

maybe you could wipe them with antibacterial wipes…I would be okay with that.

I have lots of toys that say not to wash or submerge in water, but I have and they turn out just fine. But you can just wash them down with a disenfectant wipe a few times, and then wash them down with a wash cloth with plain water. They will be just fine. I wouldn’t throw them away unless they were chewed up or wouldn’t wash clean.

I use that clorox anywhere spray. I spray it on a paper towel and wipe down my sons toys.

Its safe to use around kids or pets.

You could wash, but if the dog had them I’d chalk it up to lesson learded (keep the dog away from the seat) and throw the toys away…

you could machine wash, but I’m not one to risk a baby’s health.
