Don’t buy from a pet store. The best thing you can do is find a reputable breeder (NOT a BYB). Here’s what you need to avoid:

However, you can always try to adopt from your shelter.
Buy From a breeder Not a pet Store And They could Also have At the shelter
Breeder : 1000-2000
shelter : 200-300
And i don’t know about stores
never buy a dog from a pet shop–they get their puppies from puppy mills

Pick a breeder that has signed the ethical breeder agreement, does medical background checks and has success in the show ring and at least one performance sport: obedience, rally, therapy, agility, etc.
LOOK ON THE INTERNET FOR POODLE RESCUE IN YOUR AREA COUNTY OR CITY. A reputable liscensed breeder or rescue NOT a back yard breeder or shelter.
