Some of them are long and I want him to be comfortable.
Also, is it safe to iron his clothes and bedsheets?

As long as you throw away the cut-off tags, and make sure what’s left isn’t sharp or prickly, I don’t see why you couldn’t. Ironing is fine, too, though I wouldn’t advise using starch.

Why wouldn’t it be safe to cut the tags off?

I dont see why it wouldn’t be safe. But why iron his clothes (unless it’s for a family photo) ? He’ll just mess them up again…but cutting off the tags should be fine.

I rip them out and sew up the hole they leave, so that the stub of the tag left when you cut them doesn’t scratch baby.

    Ironing is fine.
