What are some good online resources for organic babies or vegetarian babies?

Question by roxanne m: What are some good online resources for organic babies or vegetarian babies?
I am raising my children organic! I am looking for resources to support this! Any ideas?
Organic food is healthier than food loaded with pesticides. Im not asking for YOUR opinions Im asking for resources. I prefer REAL food so unless you have information for me- go eat your chili dogs and oreos and leave me alone!

Yeah…stop trying to pass your hippie garbage off onto your kid. I don’t know how healthy it is to put a baby on a vegetarian diet. Have you spoken to a DR. about this???!!

If you want to eat that way and ruin your health, that’s fine, but don’t force it on your children. I don’t care who told you it was good for you to eat like that, but they’re wrong. Not that I’m saying it is healthy to eat the way most Americans eat either, but just giver your child a good balanced diet. If you have any questions on what a balanced diet is, the FDA can give you more info.

Also, if you force your kids to eat that way, when they get into school and all of their friends have all of this junk food, they’ll try it and like it, and end up overindulging and over time will become fat. It’s just like what the preacher’s kids do when they get out of the house.

Organic is one thing, but vegetarian? come on now. you will have a very difficult time keeping up with the necessary protein your baby needs without feeding him/her any meat products. Malnutrition during early ages can lead to severe permanent damage. I challenge you to find a pediatrician that will back you on this.

Don’t listen to all the naysayers! It’s perfectly safe and healthy to raise your children vegetarian. Check out the information on the PCRM site for starters. Here’s a sample:

“Naturally, children need protein to grow, but they do not need high-protein, animal-based foods. Many people are unaware that a varied menu of grains, beans, vegetables, and fruits supplies plenty of protein. The “protein deficiencies” that our parents worried about in impoverished countries were the result of starvation or diets restricted to very few food items. Protein deficiency is extremely unlikely on a diet drawn from a variety of plant foods. “
