I have a ton of newborn clothes but my doctor is saying the my baby is going to be a big boy. I’m worried nothing will fit him.

Some babies never fit in the newborn sizes. My son was born at a tiny bit over 8 pounds and only wore one newborn outfit during the first 1-2 weeks and that was it. Of course all newborn sizes vary a little bit by brand.
What do you think? Answer below!

my son was born 6lbs 14 oz and by the time he was 1 week old he was 7lbs 15oz he is now going on 4 weeks old so i know he is over 8lbs and he is still fitting into alot of his newborn clothing. you dont wanna put something on your baby that is SUPER big on then cuz they will not be confy. You wanna put something that fits. I would say not to get rid of any. I have also her of doctors saying that a baby is going to be big and they come out smaller then the doc says, My friend when she was pregnant with her daughter the doc told her that her daugher was 9lbs and induced at 37 weeks well when she had the baby she only weighed 7lbs 3oz. so again just cause doc said beyond 8lbs i would hold off on taking anything back!
My son is a 2 months old and over 13 pounds and recently I found a onesie that was labeled NB 5-8 pounds and I looked at it and said to myself, let’s see if it still fits and it did. It really depends on the brand. It’s kinda like I had size six pants that would fit and size 10 that where too tight.
My son is 3 months old and weighs almost 12 pounds and he can still wear almost all of his newborn clothes… the only ones he can’t wear now are the footed sleepers because he’s so long.
