You can use any kind of detergent for Baby unless he/she has a bad reaction to it.
I started my baby on regular detergent and he was fine.
But if you do need to switch, then remember to also wash your clothes in special detergent. Washing his/her clothes in special detergent, then laying him/her up against you after you’ve washed your clothes in regular detergent kind of defeats the purpose 
)

ive always heard non-bio, preferably eco varities are best, but you do have to wash everything in it for reason mentioned in other post.
