Question by charebear2007: Anyone use/know of an organic lavender baby wash?
I am currently using the Johnson and Johnson bed time wash and lotion for my daughter, and I recently discovered how awful the sulfate is in shampoos and was shocked that is in the baby wash. I just switched to organic shampoo… but does anyone use or know of a 100% organic lavender scent wash and lotion for baby? Tear free, sulfate free, etc. (and lavender so it soothes at bedtime).

I use burts bees lotion and shampoo. I use avalon organics lavender conditioner (she has wild hair) It is not made for babies but it is all natural and I have been using it on my little one since she was a newborn (she is now 1 yr) with no reaction or anything.
Burts bees smells so yummy…I just want to eat her little toes!

California Baby makes a nice lavender shampoo & body wash.
My favorite is organic baby products are Little Twig, but I’m not sure how widely available it is:

Their lavender wash contains tea tree oil, which could potentially be irritating to a little baby, Personally, I would get an unscented, extra mild baby wash and add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Better yet would be to use an essential oil in a diffuser while you bathe baby with an unscented soap. California Baby makes a great one. People swear by the calming blend:
