Question by I smile because of them ♥: What newborn diaper do you reccomend?
When my daughter was born I used Luvs Newborn and they worked great and now I just use Pampers Cruisers. Anyway, now I’m expecting a baby boy in a couple of weeks and I can’t seem to find luvs diapers anywhere. We just moved to California. I know I can always try to buy them online but I prefer to buy them in person. Which newborn diaper do you prefer and what do you compare it to in other words what have you tried. I’m only talking about newborn diapers not any other size.

I love LUVS and I can’t find newborn size anywhere, we are having twin girls next month, I really would rather use LUVS, that is what we use on our 22 month old. But anyway, with my youngest, I hadn’t found LUVS yet and we used pampers swadlers. In a yellow package, I think they work great. That is what I am stocking up on for the twins since I can’t find my favorite brand.
I love the Pampers Swaddlers Ive tried the Pampers Baby Dry but I didn’t like them.
I have found that Pampers work best for my babies’ sentive skin b/c I didn’t want to use cloth diapers. I hope this helps b/c I know every child is different.
PAMPERS for sure… HUGGIES SUCK big time especially for boys, they leaked with every pee no matter what direction his penis was pointed in. Pampers are more expensive but well worth it.
I was using Luvs for my son but for some reason it does not seem to be working well at all. I change him frequently and he keeps wetting himself and the mattress, his clothing even when he makes #2 it gets all over the place. Luvs use to work great for me but not anymore. I am now using huggies and that seems to work great. I have not had those problems and now my son is 6 months and this is what I am going to keep using.. Try it, it worked for me, it might work for you too.. Good Luck!!!!!
The only thing I know for sure: every baby’s butt is different and its all about personal fit.
We like Pampers Swaddlers. They are very soft and stretchy.
We thought Huggies smelled weird. They weren’t really great or really awful. We hated the Luvs – they just did not fit our daughter at all!
Since you liked the Luvs, you may want to try Pampers Baby Dry. They are probably the closest in style. I haven’t ever found the Baby Dry in newborn size here in Ohio, but they are in size 1 for sure. (Pampers and Luvs are the same company, so the Baby Dry are probably just Luvs with an extra bit of elastic!)

i hated luvs!! they would always break when i would try to put them on.. … when my son was a newborn i loved the pampers swaddlers!!!! those were the best!!!

They sell Luv’s at wal-mart..I used them with my first son and switched to White Cloud from wal-mart. I have bought every brand imaginable and White Cloud by far is the best. Not ot mention they are very very cheap. I love that they can last all night without leaking. They also sell White Cloud trainning pants which I used to potty train my son. Diapers are so expensive I would try them…You’ll like them if you like luv’s!
PAMPERS SWADDLERS.
Best newborn diapers out there hands down. They are fabricky and real soft so they fit really really well. It’s the little yellow package.
We’re using cruisers now too, but we started with the swaddlers and I just can’t say enough about them…They are excellent….I just wish they made them in the larger sizes too!
I love the swaddlers for a new born. They fit snugly are soft and dont leak!
HUGGIES NEWBORN DIAPERS WITH CORD PROTECTION, PAMPER IS GREAT. I USED PAMPER AND HUGGIES NEWBORN DIAPERS WITH CORD PROTECTION. THE BEST BRAND TO BE HONEST IS HUGGIES NEWBORN DIAPERS WITH CORD PROTECTION BECAUSE YOU DON’T HAVE TO FOLD THE DIAPER OVER LIKE THE OTHER BRANDS.
i love the organic disposables tushies diapers they are really natural that barely ever give them diaper rash i have 3pcks that i could sell 2 you for 25 each bring 40 so if your interested give me an email…my 2mo doesnt fit in them she moved a size up so i guess i ordered the wrong size so let me know
swaddlers
We use the pampers swaddlers. They have this neat absorbing liner in them so their messes are not quite as messy. They come in premiee size, newborn, 1 and 2.
Well I’m in australia so most of the nappies I know you guys wouldn’t have in the states. I do know you guys have huggies though which I found good for my little boy (and still do at night times – he’s a cloth boy by day). I also use Planet Ark nappies that are made with cornstarch instead of the gels that are in the huggies and Natures baby (i think thats what they are called) nappies, also made with corn starch.
