Go to the dollar store or the dollar section in Target. Oftentimes you can find cute items there like soaps or lotions or kitchen gadgets. Bath and Body Works also, at times, has sales going on where you can buy 6 items for $25.

You don’t HAVE to play games but if you do you don’t have to have prizes. People are just there to celebrate you and your baby, they don’t really care about the prizes. You could also bake some things like cookies or breads to give away.

    ETA: Ha! :P

Go to your local craft store and buy candles and tie either baby blue or pink ribbin around them. I found the most adorable candles that were baby powder scented for like 2 something a piece. With the ribbin tied around them….they were adorable!

Homemade mini cookies. Sounds cheap right? It is and guest actually LOVE them, We gave bags of mini chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies at my shower and people raved about them for weeks. I got calls after my shower asking for the recipe and more cookies.

I got my Baby Shower Gifts from Ikea. The whole store is filled with little cheap cute items that is great for anyone. I bought most things for under $3 and wrapped them cute. Vases, Cactus window plants, candles, candle holders, decorated napkins, utensils, mugs, glass cups. Anything that looked expensive but wasn’t!

Scented candles are always a nice gift. You can pick a cheap one up that comes in a cute container for around $3 each. I cut squares out of fabric and filled each one with little chocolates and hard candy, then tied it up with a bow. The guests all thought they were really cute, and everyone likes candy. You can also buy a gift set of lotions and body washes, then split the stuff into individual prizes. The dollar store also has cute little things that work great for gifts. It’s not about the prize they win anyways, it’s about the bragging rights they get from being the winner..hahahahaha
