These are the presents wrapped and ready to go for my niece-to-be’s baby shower. The light is pink because of the burgundy curtains in the background. The purple package contains the Knitty Haiku sweater. The peach package contains the Knitty Miss Dashwood hat. The green package has two little baby booties on the front, and inside is a hat of my own design.

Jessica had a baby shower yesterday which was thrown for her by her mom’s friends. There were probably about 30 ladies there for the event and threw a most excellent party for her. There was food, games, and lots of gifts. It’s amazing to see how many people out there are supporting us and wishing just the best thoughts on us. i forgot to mention at the top of this that Jessica didn’t make it to the shower and that meant that I had to fill in. Whoa! I held my own and made it out alive. Everybody was great and fine with me being there instead.
This is my 1st cousin once removed Mya in this pic. She arrived early to the party so I had a chance to grab the camera and snap off a few pics. Look at those eyes.
